Join the Magnes in partnership with New Lehrhaus, the J Weekly, and the Jewish Community Library for the first annual Jewish Arts & BookFest in celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month.

Program will include:

• Feature presentations
• Breakout room programs including hands-on writing and art-making workshops, panels and author presentations
• Exhibitors including Afikomen Books; publishers, Jewish community and arts/culture organizations
• Book-signings
• Food vendors
• Gallery tours and exhibition-based activities

Submissions for the 2025 Jewish Arts & Bookfest at the Magnes are now open! We welcome your interest in offering a program as part of the Jewish Arts & Bookfest! We are seeking a diverse array of presentations by authors and artists whose work engages Jewish heritage and culture. Program slots will be 50 minutes. All applications will be reviewed by the Arts & Bookfest planning committee to create the most dynamic day of programming possible. You can find the application page here.
