Shared History Project Exhibition Reception and Program

In collaboration with UC Berkeley’s Center for Jewish Studies, Faculty Director John Efron welcomes the German and Israeli Consul Generals to a reception and program showcasing Leo Baeck Institute’s traveling panel exhibition, Shared History Project: 1700 Years of Jewish Life in German Speaking Lands. The program will feature Koret Professor of Jewish History at UC Berkeley, John Efron, German Consul General Oliver Schramm, and Israeli Consul General Amb. Marco Sermoneta.

The Shared History Project traveling panel exhibition will be on display and open to the public at UC Berkeley’s Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 11:00am-4:00pm from September 6 – 30, 2022.

Registration

Registration is required. Capacity is limited to 100 guests with registration required to attend. Registration will close once capacity has been met.  Doors will close at 5:30pm. No large bags or backpacks allowed.

Hosted by UC Berkeley’s Center for Jewish Studies, The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life, the Consulate General of Germany – San Francisco, and the Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest.
