Join Chance Reiniesch as he performs original music from his latest record, places to disappear, along with reimagined selections from Jewish liturgy. Inspired by Jewish writings and ancestral wisdom, Chance composes contemporary folk music to explore the process of meaning-making as a modern people without losing sight of the places we’ve come from.
About the Artist: Chance Reiniesch
Chance Reiniesch is a Jewish filmmaker, photographer, musician and sound artist whose work is grounded in ethical modes of creation, sincerity and community. His most recent work, the places to disappear EP, explores environmentalist themes, queer identity, and spirituality in the rhetoric of place. The record commits itself and its listeners to an intentional practice of reflection as we move through the swift dynamism of the 21st century.
