This exhibition includes thirty-six illuminating images by photographer Keren Friedman, which evoke daily life in the ancient and still thriving Jewish communities of the island of Djerba, Tunisia. Accompanying the photographs are costumes and ceremonial objects gathered by folklore scholar Friedman, who spent a year living among the Jewish villagers on Djerba.
