Ethel Fein collection of Congregation Beth Sholom Sisterhood records, 1963-1980

Ethel Fein was the past president and hospitality chairwoman of the Sisterhood of San Francisco’s Congregation Beth Sholom. The Sisterhood was formed in the 1930s and its first president was Mrs. N. Miller.

The collection consists of records of Congregation Beth Sholom’s SIsterhood collected over the years by Ethel Fein. Included are Beth Sholom’s Board of Directors manual (1979-1980) and minutes (1966-1968); files on the congregation’s youth programs and services and on the Education Committee’s programs; fliers; announcements; Sisterhood correspondence (most to Helen Kulka, president), minutes (1966-1968) and budgets (1963-1967); membership and attendance lists; reports and bulletins; and Ethel Fein’s
