These pages are devoted to the intense publication history of the Magnes, which began in 1963, shortly after the Judah L. Magnes Museum was established, and continues into the present.

The publications of the Magnes have traditionally focused on its holdings, whether the museum collections or the Western Jewish Americana archives, especially through exhibition catalogs, and its programs, such as the literary and video competitions organized by the museum since the 1970's. At the same time, the Judah L. Magnes Museum acted as a catalyst in the study of Jewish culture in the global Diaspora and the Holocaust.

A separate list of publications of the Magnes, made exclusively of bibliographic entries, is also maintained on OCLC Worldcat (also available as an RSS feed).
