Dan Pine of J. The Jewish Weekly of Northern California writes about a UC Berkeley Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program at The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life at the University of California, Berkeley. The project, which involves faculty, curators, graduate and undergraduate students, is devoted to unearthing the history of the intellectual migration from Fascist Europe to UC Berkeley, based on documents found in the University Archives at The Bancroft Library.
